Mistake Proves Profitable for Wu
There are some crazy things happening in the Poker King cardroom at present and we have just caught a most amusing hand that played out recently. A player sitting under-the-gun opened the action with a raise to 1,200 and picked up two callers and the action was on the button.
The player in question wished to remain nameless, and we can’t say we blame him after what happened next. The button squeezed to 5,200 in total sending the original raiser deep into the think tank and he did not look thrilled at being re-raised. Eventually, the original raiser let it go, as did one of the callers and the button delightedly flipped over for a stone cold bluff squeeze.
Unfortunately, however, Chao Wu had yet to act and had not yet folded. The button swore in Cantonese, and Wu declared that he was now all in bringing a speedy fold from the button and Wu won 7,600 just by acting in turn. Priceless.
