At 2 PM local time, the 2018 PKC HK$200,000 Super High Roller is set to start with the eleven remaining players that entered on Day 1. As the registration and reentry period is still open for another two 50-minute levels, more players could be joining these players that are spread over two tables.
At the top of the chip counts leaderboard is China’s Ye Wang with 710,000 in chips. He is trailed by another Chinese player, Kui Song Wu with 633,000. The last player on the podium is Mikita Badziakouski with 484,000. The High Roller expert has six tournament titles to his name of which four were Super High Rollers. Will he add another one to his list of achievements and some more money to his already impressive more than $18 million in live tournament cashes?
Another two Chinese players round out the top five in the leaderboard: Wenling Gao (454,000) and Shan Huang (339,000). Huang was the only player that needed a second bullet to bag his chips at the end of the day, but who knows, some of the eliminated players might be back later today.
Also through to Day 2 are Michael Addamo (328,000), William Fasano (311,000), Takashi Ogura (259,000), Sergio Aido (235,000), Phachara Wongwichit (144,000), and Phanlert Sukonthachartnant (99,000).

Players will start with Level 10 which features a small blind of 4,000, big blind of 8,000, and a running ante of 1,000. Registration will remain open for the first two levels and the 10-minute break that follows it. Once that period closes around 3:50 PM, the final prize pool details will be announced. The tournament will play down to a winner today, no dinner break has been scheduled as of yet but that is up to the tournament director's discretion. A 10-minute break will take place after every two levels which last 50-minutes each.

The tournament director has welcomed the players back to the tables and instructed the players to shuffle up and deal.
Kui Song Wu raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and was called by Shan Huang in the big blind.
They both checked through the on the flop to the on the turn. Huang bet 17,000 and Wu called.
They both checked again when the hit on the river. Huang tabled for the two pair on the board with the queen-kicker. Wu took the pot down though with for the higher two pair.
While they were playing this hand, James Chen reentered and got seated at the same table. The hand right after, Wu raised to 18,000 from under the gun. Chen three-bet to 90,000 immediately from the cutoff. Action folded back to Wu who seemed tempted for a while but opted to fold.

Phachara Wongwichit raised to 16,000 from the hijack and was called by William Fasano in the big blind.
The flop came , Fasano check-called the 14,000 continuation-bet of Wongwichit.
They both checked through the on the turn to the on the river. They both checked again. Fasano showed and was beaten by the off Wongwichit who had two pair to take the pot.

The board read with about 100,000 in the middle already. James Chen checked in the cutoff and so did Sergio Aido on the button.
The river completed the board with the , Chen bet 48,000 and Aido snap-called. Chen turned over for not much. Aido tabled for the flopped pair of aces and improved to two pair on the turn.

William Fasano raised to 17,000 from the hijack and Phachara Wongwichit shoved for 147,000 in total on the button. The blinds folded and Fasano called with the bigger stack.

The board ran out to give Wongwichit the set he was hoping for on the river to double up, leaving Fasano behind with less than seven big blinds.

Michael Addamo raised to 16,000 from mid-position and was called by Kui Song Wu in the hijack. Phanlert Sukonthachartnant shoved for 81,000 in total from the cutoff. Jing Hui Ying looked at his cards and also decided to shove in the big blind. Addamo quickly folded but Wu needed a bit more time to lay his cards down, which he did in the end.

The flop came to give Sukonthacharnant quads on the flop which meant Ying had to hit runner-runner nines to bust Sukonthachartnant from the tournament.
The on the turn meant Ying was drawing dead and Sukonthachartnant was guaranteed the double=-up. The on the river was just another formality to complete the board.
