Rasmussen Fails to Double Up

Contrary to what Phanlert Sukonthachartnant has managed to do when he became short, Jacob Rasmussen was eliminated just when the break started.

With eleven seconds to go on the tournament clock, the last hand on his table was being dealt. Rasmussen shoved for 58,000 in total from under the gun and was called by Sukonthachartnant in the small blind. Wenling Gao sighed and reluctantly folded her big blind.

The board ran out to not provide any help to Rasmussen as he was eliminated for now. The late registration and reentry period remains open until the start of Level 12 tomorrow so he might be back later today or tomorrow.
