Another KO for Ben Tollerene

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A short-stacked Alan Schein moved all in for roughly 50,000 from the small blind and Ben Tollerene called from the big.

Tollerene: {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Schein: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades} flop gave Tollerene trips, and Schein was left drawing dead after the dealer burned and turned the {a-Clubs}. The meaningless {8-Clubs} was run out on the river and Schein hit the rail.

Big Slick Does't Do the Trick for Scott Seiver

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Scott Seiver during the 2017 SHRB
Scott Seiver during the 2017 SHRB

Ben Tollerene shoved his last 12bb from the hijack and Scott Seiver, who had a bit less, called off from the big blind.

Seiver: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Tollerene: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Seiver got it in good, but the {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop was gin for Tollerene, who paired up and had a diamond draw. Neither the {7-Spades} turn nor {9-Spades} river helped Seiver, and he made a beeline for the exit.

Brutal River Card Sends Cary Katz to Rail in Ugly Fashion

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

In a leftover hand from last level, which just aired on the PokerGO live stream, Cary Katz got his last 81,000 all in preflop and was at risk against Ben Lamb.

Lamb: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Katz: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop gave Katz a full house, and the {5-Hearts} turn meant all he needed to do was dodge an ace and the case four on the river to double. That proved easier said than done though as the {4-Spades} spiked to give Lamb quad fours with an ace kicker.

Dan Smith Sends Doug Polk to the Rail

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Doug Polk during the 2017 WSOP
Doug Polk during the 2017 WSOP

On a flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Doug Polk got his last 65,000 all in and was called by Dan Smith.

Smith: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Polk: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Polk went with his open-ended straight draw, which he needed to hit to overcome Smith's top pair with flush redraw. Neither the {5-Diamonds} turn nor {9-Spades} river helped Polk, and he wished the table good luck before exiting the tournament area.

Stephene Chidwick Flushed By Dan Smith

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick during the 2017 WSOP

Dan Smith raised the cutoff to 25,000 only to have Stephen Chidwick three-bet all in for 113,000 from the small blind. David Peters folded from the big and Smith opted to call.

Smith: {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Chidwick got it in good, but he fell behind on the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop. The {j-Diamonds} turn gave him an open-ended straight draw, and while the {7-Diamonds} river completed it, the same card gave Smith a winning flush.

Dominik Nitsche Makes Tough Call to Double Through Justin Bonomo

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche just limped from the small blind and Justin Bonomo checked his option from the big. The {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop saw Nitsche check-call a bet of 8,000 and then he led out for 10,000 on the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Bonomo called and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Nitsche returned to checking and Bonomo moved all in. Nitsche, who had 56,000 back, hit the tank and even used a time extension before calling off.

Bonomo showed the {2-Spades}{3-Spades} bluff, and Nitsche rolled over the {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens and the win.

Matt Hyman's Tournament Life on the Line in Classic Race

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Matt Hyman
Matt Hyman

The preflop action escaped us, but we do know that Matt Hyman got his stack of 144,500 all in preflop against Brandon Adams, who recently worked his stack of 18,000 up to over 200K.

Adams: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Hyman: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

It was the epitome of a race, and Hyman was looking to hold to score the double. The ladies showed him some love as they held after the board ran out {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.
