Polk Picks Off Seiver's Bluff

Level 3 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Doug Polk opened to 4,000 from under the gun and Scott Seiver three-bet to 13,500 from the button.

Polk called, and then check-called 11,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop as both players checked the {5-Diamonds} on the turn.

The river landed the {J-Diamonds}, and after another Polk check, Seiver bet 30,000.

As Polk began thinking, he threw in one of his 60-second time extension buttons and continued to deliberate.

Eventually Polk called and tabled his {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for top pair. Seiver mucked, and in doing so, dropped to roughly 35,000 in chips.

Haxton Bullies Lamb Out

Level 3 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

On a board reading {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades} with around 22,000 in the middle already, Ben Lamb checked from the big blind and Isaac Haxton bet 19,000 from the hijack. Lamb made the call and the {a-Diamonds} landed on the river.

Lamb checked again and Haxton took over a minute until he finally announced all-in. Haxton had Lamb covered and Lamb didn't take long to muck his hand. Haxton scooped another pot without going to showdown.

Level 3 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

From the cutoff, Zach Hyman opened the action to 3,500 only to have David Peters three-bet the small blind to 16,500.

With the action back on Hyman, he four-bet to 35,000 and Peters moved all in for 149,000. Hyman instantly called for his final 96,000, and the cards were tabled.

Hyman: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Peters: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Hyman doubled to 175,000 while Peters dropped down to 53,000 in chips.

Unfortunately, Alan Schein has been eliminated for the second time today.

From observation, it appears as though Steffen Sontheimer did the damage after sending Schein down to 60,000 just a hand earlier.

Sontheimer is currently sitting behind a stack of 240,000 in chips.
