Mateos Clips Hellmuth

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised in the cutoff to 30,000 and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind.

Both players checked the {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop as the {A-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Mateos led out for 27,000. Hellmuth bumped it up to 57,000 total, and Mateos called before both players checked the {3-Clubs} on the river.

Hellmuth tabled his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}, but it would be Mateous' {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} that would see him collect the pot as a Hellmuth "running bad" rant soon followed.

Marchese Finds Value on the River

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 27,000 from the cutoff and Tom Marchese defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Marchese check-called a bet of 20,000 from Seidel.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked to the {4-Spades} on the river.

Marchese made a healthy bet of 82,000 and Seidel quickly called. Marchese rolled over {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Seidel sat and stared at the cards for a good 20 seconds. He finally mucked his hand and Marchese took down another pot.

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth opened the cutoff to 23,000 and both Koray Aldemir and Adrian Mateos called from the button and big blind respectively.

The flop landed {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and both Mateos and Hellmuth checked to Aldemir who bet 29,000. Mateos folded, and Hellmuth called, before both players checked the {8-Diamonds} on the turn.

Dominik Nitsche Eliminated in 14th Place

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

The action folded to Sean Winter on the button and he limped in. Adrian Mateos completed from the small blind, and Dominik Nitsche checked his option.

The flop landed {6-}{4-}{3-} and Mateos led for 15,000 with only Nitsche calling as the turn landed the repeating {3-}.

Mateos bet out 40,000, and Nitsche called, as the river landed the {K-}.

Mateos moved all in for an effective bet of roughly 100,000, and after some deliberation, Nitsche called all in.

Mateos tabled his {7-}{5-} for a flopped straight, and when Nitsche flashed his {Q-}{3-} for trips, he was eliminated in 14th place.
