From under the gun, Sam Soverel opened to 17,000 and Tom Marchese called in the big blind.

The flop landed {3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Marchese checked to Soverel who bet 15,000. Marchese opted to respond with a check-raise to 52,000, and Soverel called.

The turn landed the {10-Diamonds}, and Marchese checked again as Soverel pushed out a bet of 60,000.

Marchese called, and when the river landed the {2-Spades}, both players checked.

Marchese tabled his {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a flopped set, and Soverel folded.

Seiver's Jacks Can't Hold

Level 12 : 3,500/7,000, 7,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 16,000 from the button and Scott Seiver re-raised to 50,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Holz four-bet all-in. Seiver called and tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} which was way ahead of Holz's {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

The {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop looked promising for Seiver but the {8-Diamonds} on the turn flipped things around. The river was the {k-Clubs} and Seiver was eliminated at the hands of Holz.
