Smith Shoves on Nitsche

Level 3 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Dan Smith opened to 35,000 from under the gun, and Fedor Holz called on the button, as did Dominik Nitsche and Tom Marchese in the blinds.

The flop landed {3-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and both Nitsche and Marchese checked to Smith who bet 5,000. Holz called on the button before Nitsche check-raised to 25,000.

Marchese folded, but Smith called, as Holz folded.

The turn landed the {A-Hearts} and Nitsche bet out 33,000. Smith used a time extension button before eventually shoving all in for 100,000 total.

It was now Nitsche's turn to head into the tank, and after using a time extension button of his own, he folded and was left with just 60,000 in chips.

Aldemir fired again for 15,500 and Schillhabel moved all-in to cover his opponent. Aldemir only had around 30,000 remaining and eventually called off his stack. Schillhabel tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut straight and Aldemir was sent packing.
