Flush Over Flush

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Christian Christner raised to 2,500 on the button and Ben Tollerene called in the small blind along with Dan Shak in the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the action was checked to Christner who bet 5,500. Tollerene folded and Shak called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Shak checked again. Christner bet 10,500 and Shak check-raised to 31,000. Christner made the call and the {2-Diamonds} hit the river. Shak used up one of his time extensions before shoving all-in for 75,500. Christner thought for a moment and then called.

Christner tabled {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush and Dan Shak sat in awe as he flashed the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Shak was eliminated but will have the option to re-enter should he choose to do so.

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Fedor Holz opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Dominik Nitsche three-bet to 8,000 next to act in the cutoff.

Holz called, and checked the {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop to Nitsche who bet 8,000. Holz check-shoved for 48,500 and Nitsche immediately called.

Nitsche: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Holz: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The turn and river landed the {3-Clubs} and {J-Clubs}, and Holz doubled through to 116,000.

Straight for Koon

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Jason Koon opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Fedor Holz three-bet the cutoff to 7,500.

Koon called, and checked the {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop as Holz continued for 6,500. Koon check-raised to 18,000, and Holz called as the turn landed the {6-Diamonds}.

Koon checked, and Holz bet 19,500, with Koon making the call as the river landed the {10-Clubs}.

Koon checked for a third time, and Holz tapped the table behind.

Koon tabled his {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the turned straight, and Holz mucked.

Schulman Folds to Aido

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Alan Schein limped in and Sergio Aido raised to 6,500 from the button. Nick Schulman called in the big blind, as did Schein.

The flop landed {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the action checked to Aido who continued for 7,000. Schulman called and Schein folded before both players checked the {K-Spades} on the turn.

The river landed the {J-Clubs} and Schulman bet out 10,000 only to have Aido raise to 46,000.

Koon Turns Two Pair

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

In a four-way limped pot, the flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the action was checked to Fedor Holz who bet 2,000 from under the gun. Tom Marchese folded the button, Rainer Kempe folded the small blind, and Jason Koon raised it up to 9,000 from the big blind. Holz called and the {5-Spades} landed on the turn.

Koon led out for 18,500 and Holz continued to call. The river was the {a-Spades} and both players checked. Koon tabled {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for two pair and Holz threw his cards away. "I put you on three-deuce," Holz said with a smile on his face.

Peters Wins Checked Down Pot

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

David Peters opened to 2,500 from middle position and both Isaac Haxton and Koray Aldemir called in the blinds.

All three players checked down the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs} board as Haxton tabled his {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

However, it would be Peters' {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} that would see him pushed the pot.
