Hands #70-74: A Quiet Few Hands

Hand #70: The action folded to Stefan Schillhabel in the small blind and he limped in holding {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Justin Bonomo moved all in from the big blind for 520,000 holding {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Schillhabel folded.

Hand #71: Justin Bonomo limped the small blind holding {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and Steffen Sontheimer checked in the big blind with {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The flop landed {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Bonomo led out 25,000. Sontheimer raised it up to 65,000, and Bonomo mucked his hand.

Hand #72: Christian Christner raised to 50,000 holding {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and collected the blinds and ante.

Hands #65-69: Holz and Goose Mix it Up

Hand #65: Fedor Holz raised to 45,000 with the {q-Spades}{8-Spades} and Justin Bonomo moved all in from the small blind with the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Holz released.

Hand #66: Bonomo raised to 40,000 from the button with the {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Seth Davies defended his big blind with the {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop saw Davies check and then fold to a bet of 30,000 from Bonomo.

Hand #67: Steffen "Goose" Sontheimer raised to 50,000 from the button with the {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Holz called from the big blind with the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop gave Holz an open-ended straight draw and he check-called a bet of 45,000 from Sontheimer.

The {10-Clubs} turn paired Holz, and he checked to Sontheimer, who bet 165,000. Holz called and the {9-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. Holz checked for a third time and Sontheimer checked behind. Send the pot to Goose.

Hand #68: Sontheimer raised to 55,000 with the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Holz called from the small blind with the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}. Christian Christner came along from the big blind with the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and the flop came down {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Holz checked, as did Christner, and Sontheimer bet 65,000 with top pair.

Holz folded and Christner, who flopped bottom two pair, check-raised to 210,000. Sontheimer called, the {3-Hearts} appeared on the turn, and Christner bet 365,000. Sontheimer gave up top pair.

Hand #69: Sontheimer raised to 55,000 from the hijack with the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Holz called from the button with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Christner looked down at the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} in the small blind and he cut out a three-bet to 255,000. Sontheimer folded, Holz called, and the flop fell {4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Christner bet what looked to be 125,000 and Holz called to see the {9-Spades} turn. Christner checked and folded to a bet from Holz.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and both players checked to the {6-Clubs} on the turn. Sontheimer led out for 65,000 and Schillhabel just called. The river brought the {7-Hearts} and both players shut down. Schillhabel's pair of queens took down the pot.

Hand #60: Schillhabel opened to 50,000 again from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Seth Davies called from the big blind with {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Davies check-folded to a bet of 40,000 from Schillhabel.

Hand #61: Justin Bonomo raised to 45,000 from the cutoff with {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Fedor Holz shipped all-in from the big blind with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Bonomo being the short stack at the table, mucked his cards and Holz won the pot.

Hand #62: Davies raised to 50,000 from the button with {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #63: Davies raised to 45,000 from the cutoff with {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and was called by Christner in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Schillhabel in the big blind with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and the action was checked around to the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Christner checked again and Schillhabel fired 125,000 into the middle with an open-ended straight draw. Christner called with the nut flush draw.

The {q-Diamonds} on the river hit both players and Christner checked again. Schillhabel bet 205,000 and Christner shipped all-in for 550,000. Schillhabel straightened up in his seat in frustration and reluctantly called. Christner tabled the nut flush and scored a big double up.

Hand #64: Sontheimer raised to 40,000 under the gun with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Fedor Holz called from the cutoff with {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Christner also called on the button with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and the flop came {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Sontheimer checked his overpair and Holz fired 90,000 which was called by Christner. Sontheimer check-raised to 330,000 and both of his opponents folded.

Hand #54: From the small blind, Steffen Sontheimer called holding {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Seth Davies checked the {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} in the big blind.

The flop landed {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Sontheimer bet 20,000. Davies folded, and Sontheimer extended his chip lead.

Hand #55: Justin Bonomo raised to 45,000 from the cutoff holding {10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Fedor Holz called in the big blind with {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The flop landed {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Holz check-called a bet of 35,000 as the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked, and the river landed the {2-Spades}. Holz bet out 60,000, and Bonomo quickly mucked.

Hand #56: The action folded to Fedor Holz in the small blind, and he raised to 70,000 holding {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Christian Christner looked down at {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} in the big blind, and he three-bet to 215,00.

Holz called, and the flop landed {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} with Holz checked to Christner who bet 125,000. Holz responded with a check-raise amounting to 285,000 and Christner mucked his hand.

Hand #57: Seth Davies opened his {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} to 45,000 from the cutoff and Stefan Schillhabel called in the big blind holding {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

The flop landed {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Schillhabel checked to Davies who bet 40,000. Schillhabel check-raised to 120,000, and Davies instantly mucked.

Hand #58: Christian Christner opened his button to 50,000 with {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, and Stefan Schillhabel three-bet the small blind to 195,000 with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Christner folded, and Schillhabel collected the pot.

Holz checked his flush draw, Sontheimer bet 105,000, and Holz called to see the {a-Diamonds} river. Holz missed his flush and checked, which prompted Sontheimer to bet 340,000. Holz folded.

Hand #50: Stefan Schillhabel raised to 50,000 with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Sontheimer just called from the cutoff with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop paired both players, and Schillhabel checked. Sontheimer, who had the better kicker, bet 50,000 and Schillhabel called to see the {9-Clubs} turn.

Schillhabel checked and then called when Sontheimer bet 250,000. Schillhabel checked for a third time on the {Q-Clubs} river and this time Sontheimer checked behind.

Hand #51: Justin Bonomo raised to 45,000 with the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Christian Christner looked down at the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} in the small blind. He three-bet it to 170,000 and Bonomo mucked.

Hand #52: Holz raised to 45,000 from the cutoff with the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Bonomo defended the big blind with the {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to see a {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Bonomo check-called a bet of 50,000 and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn, giving Holz the best hand. Bonomo checked and so did Holz, which led to the {10-Spades} on the river. Both players checked again and Holz was pushed the pot.

Hand #53: Christner raised to 50,000 with the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Sontheimer called from the big blind with the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop saw Sontheimer check top pair and Christner check behind to the {6-Hearts} turn. Sontheimer bet 65,000 and Christner folded.

Hands #45-49: Bonomo Finds an Unlikely Double Up

Hand #45: Stefan Schillhabel raised to 50,000 from under the gun with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and was three-bet by Christian Christner to 190,000 with {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Schillhabel just called and saw the flop come {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Both players checked to the {10-Clubs} on the turn and Christner led out for 225,000 with his flush draw. Schillhabel called and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Both players checked on the river and Christner's cards went to the muck face down sending the pot to Schillhabel.

Hand #46: The action was folded to Christner in the small blind who limped in with {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Schillhabel raised to 80,000 from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Christner quickly folded and another pot Schillhabel's way.

Hand #47: Schillhabel limped in from the small blind with {j-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Justin Bonomo checked his option with {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Schillhabel led out for 20,000. Bonomo made the call and the {7-Hearts} landed on the turn. Schillhabel fired again for 85,000 and Bonomo continued to call. The river brought the {2-Clubs} and Schillhabel announced all-in, putting Bonomo to the test for his remaining 285,000. Bonomo quickly called and found an unlikely double up.

Hand #48: Seth Davies raised to 45,000 from under the gun with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Schillhabel three-bet to 135,000 from the button with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Davies laid his hand down and the pot was shipped to Schillhabel.

Hand #49: Christner raised to 45,000 from the hijack with {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and was called by Steffen Sontheimer in the small blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Davies in the big blind with {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Christner continued for 40,000 on the flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and both of his opponents folded.
