Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Stefan Schillhabel opened to 7,500 from under the gun, and as the action folded round to Nick Petrangelo in the big blind, he moved all in for 48,500. Schillhabel instantly called, and the cards were placed on their backs.

Schillhabel: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Petrangelo: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Petrangelo was eliminated as Schillhabel climbed to 645,000 in chips.

Dominik Nitsche Eliminated By Seth Davies

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Seth Davies raised to 7,000 from the cutoff holding the {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Dominik Nitsche three-bet to 28,000 from the small blind with what turned out to be the {6-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Davies opted to call and the flop came down {9-}{5-}{5-Hearts}. Nitsche led out for 25,000, Davies called, and the {4-Hearts} appeared on the turn.

Nitsche bet again, this time 45,000, and Davies came along to see the {3-Hearts} river. Nitsche, who made his straight, moved all in for approximately 110,000 and Davies called him with a heart flush.

David Peters Calls Off His Stack

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

With roughly 140,000 in the pot and a board reading {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, Justin Bonomo burned a time extension thinking about what to do in the small blind. Eventually he went all in and put the pressure on David Peters, who was sitting with around 190,000 back.

Peters thought for two and a half minutes, burning his last two time extensions in the process, and then quietly said, "Call."

Bonomo rolled over the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair, and it was good as Peters had called him with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. With that, Peters' Poker Masters experience has come to an end.

Isaac Haxton Eliminated by Rast's Set

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Isaac Haxton raised to 6,000 from the hijack and Daniel Negreanu called from the cutoff. Brian Rast and Scott Seiver also called from the blinds.

Haxton: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Negreanu: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}
Rast: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Seiver: {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} which spelled disaster for Haxton. The action was checked around, however, to the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Rast checked again and Seiver took a shot for 17,000. Haxton just called and Negreanu folded.

Rast finally showed some aggression and raised to 67,000. Seiver mucked his hand and Haxton shipped all-in. Rast quickly called and Haxton was drawing dead to the {9-Hearts} on the river.

Catching the action on a final board reading {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Spades}, Dan Smith pushed all in from the small blind, and Sergio Aido called all-in from the big blind.

Smith tabled his {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a full house as Aido revealed his {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for trips and was consequently eliminated.

Poker Masters Event #3 Champ Bryn Kenney Eliminated

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Three of the four Poker Masters $50K prelim winners are now gone, which leaves Steffen Sontheimer as the last champ remaining. The latest to go was Bryn Kenney, who began the day in second place with $1,085,000 in Poker Masters earnings.

It happened when Ben Tollerene raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick flatted from the button. Kenney then moved all in for 23,000 from the big blind, Tollerene put in a four-bet, and Chidwick got out of the way.

Tollerene: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Kenney: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Kenny got it in good, and while the {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop didn't hit Tollerene directly, it did give him a flush draw to go with his overs. The {5-Clubs} turn gave Tollerene counterfeit outs, but it was the {Q-Clubs} on the river that would give him the win.

With that, Kenney's hopes of donning the purple jacket went up in smoke.

Big Slick Does't Do the Trick for Sean Winter

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

A short-stacked Sean Winter moved all in for 22,500 under the gun and Dominik Nitsche called from the small blind. Dan Shak folded from the big and the hands were turned up.

Nitsche: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Winter: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Winter was in great shape to double, but not after the flop came down {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to pair Nitsche. Neither the {9-Spades} turn nor {J-Diamonds} river was what Winter needed, and he hit the rail here in Level 5.

Alan Schein Eliminated by Stefan Schillhabel

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Alan Schein
Alan Schein

On a board reading {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with roughly 100,000 in the middle, Stefan Schillhabel moved all in from the small blind.

Alan Schein went into the tank and eventually made the call to be at-risk.

Schein: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Schillhabel: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

With Schillhabel flopping a set against Schein's top pair, Schein would be left drawing dead as the river landed the {3-Clubs}.

Schillhabel is now the tournament chip leader with over 550,000 in chips.

Event #4 Champ Brandon Adams Bows Out

Level 4 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Brandon Adams
Brandon Adams

A short-stacked Jason Koon limped under the gun and Brandon Adams called from the small blind. Jake Schindler checked his option from the big and three players went to the {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Spades} flop.

Adams, who had 22,500, moved all in, Schindler folded, and Koon, who had exactly the same amount, made the call.

Adams: {2-Spades}{3-Spades}
Koon: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Adams went with his flush draw, but it didn't pay off as the {4-Diamonds} blanked on the turn followed by the {A-Hearts} on the river.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated by Christian Christner

Level 4 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Christian Christner opened to 3,500 from middle position and Stefan Schillhabel called in the cutoff before Adrian Mateos three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind.

Christner called and Schillhabel folded as the flop landed {8-}{4-}{3-} with two spades. Mateos led out for 15,000 and Christner raised to 36,000 with Mateos calling as the turn landed the {9-} as both players checked.

The river landed the {K-Spades} and Mateos pushed his last 65,000 into the pot and Christner called.

Mateos sheepishly revealed his {A-Spades}{Q-} for just ace-high as Christner tabled his {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush to eliminate Mateos while simultaneously moving his stack up to 395,000 in chips.
