Katz Doubles with Kings

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Feature Table:

Steffen Sontheimer raised to 6,000 with {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 18,000 from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Cary Katz was on the button with {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and four-bet to 36,000. Sontheimer folded and Negreanu called.

Katz had only 3,500 remaining when the flop came {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the two players got the chips in the middle. Katz needed to avoid an ace to stay alive. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river was the {4-Hearts} as Katz managed to get a full double up.

Marchese's Turn to Double

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Feature Table:

Tom Marchese raised to 6,000 on the button with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Isaac Haxton woke up in the big blind with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. He made a three-bet to 17,5000 and Marchese four-bet jammed for 80,000. Haxton quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Marchese needed to dodge a jack and the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. It was a clean board for Marchese as he doubled up and Haxton dropped to around 130,000.

Isaac Haxton Eliminated by Rast's Set

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 6,000 from the hijack and Daniel Negreanu called from the cutoff. Brian Rast and Scott Seiver also called from the blinds.

Haxton: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Negreanu: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}
Rast: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Seiver: {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} which spelled disaster for Haxton. The action was checked around, however, to the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Rast checked again and Seiver took a shot for 17,000. Haxton just called and Negreanu folded.

Rast finally showed some aggression and raised to 67,000. Seiver mucked his hand and Haxton shipped all-in. Rast quickly called and Haxton was drawing dead to the {9-Hearts} on the river.
