Bonomo Closing Back in on 1 Million

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante

The action folded to Justin Bonomo in the small blind and he limped in for 4,000. Ben Tollerene bumped it up to 16,000 from the big blind, and Bonomo called to see a {2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop.

Bonomo checked and Tollerene bet 11,000. Bonomo called, and both players checked the {8-Clubs} on the turn before the {Q-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Bonomo led out for 14,000, and Tollerene mucked.

Marchese Doesn't Get There Against Rast

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante
Tom Marchese
Tom Marchese

Brian Rast raised to 9,000 from the hijack and Tom Marchese responded with an all-in three-bet for 44,000 more from the button. Both blinds folded and Rast called.

Marchese: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Rast: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

It was a flip, but Marchese needed to improve to stay alive. That proved easier said than done though as the board ran out a dry {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

Seidel Turns a Flush to Double Up

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel raised to 10,000 on the button and Fedor Holz three-bet to 40,000 from the big blind. Seidel made the call and the flop came {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Holz led out for 40,000 and Seidel shipped all-in for 181,000. Holz didn't waste much time before making the call. Seidel turned over {9-Spades}{6-Spades} for a straight and flush draw, while Holz held an overpair in the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Seidel hit his flush right away. The insignificant {5-Clubs} was on the river and Seidel put a dent into Holz's stack.

Tom Marchese Stays Alive

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante

Tom Marchese got his last 41,000 all in preflop and found himself at risk against Daniel Negreanu.

Marchese: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Negreanu: {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Marchese had the better ace, and he was rewarded with a double after the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Aces and a Double for Chidwick

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 3,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 9,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind.

Both players checked the {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop as the {7-Spades} landed on the turn and Chidwick bet out 15,000.

Bonomo called, and when the river landed the {J-Clubs}, Chidwick moved all in for 57,000. Bonomo called and tabled his {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair, however it would be Chidwick's {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} that would ensure him the double.
