Negreanu Busts Katz

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Three players checked to Daniel Negreanu, who bet 20,000 in the cutoff on {6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Sam Soverel mucked, the blinds followed him and Cary Katz called from under the gun. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Katz checked. Negreanu bet 50,000 and Katz used a time extension then shoved all in for about 130,000. Negreanu called.

Negreanu: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Katz: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Katz was in bad shape with kings up and the {6-Hearts} river improved Negreanu to a straight.

"King-high flush," Schindler announced after Bonomo mucked, fanning {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Nitsche Bumps It Up on Katz

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a board reading {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} with roughly 65,000 in the middle, Cary Katz bet out 32,500 only to have Dominik Nitsche raise to 160,000.

Garcia Folds River to Katz

Level 3 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Cord Garcia
Cord Garcia

Cary Katz limped in and Daniel Negreanu raised to 5,000 on the button. Cord Garcia called in the big blind, as did Katz.

The flop landed {5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and action checked to Negreanu who bet 7,000. Both Garcia and Katz called as the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Garcia checked, Katz bet 20,000, and Negreanu folded. Garcia called, and then checked the {J-Diamonds} on the river to Katz who announced a bet of pot.

"Do you have a straight flush?" asked Katz.

"Yep. I'm slow rolling you," responded Garcia.

Before Garcia's time expired, he flung his cards to the muck and conceded the pot to Katz.
