Yu folded, and Haxton collected this pot.

Jason Koon opened his button to 10,000 and David Peters three-bet to 35,000 from the big blind.

Yu Eliminates Negreanu

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened on the button for 25,000 and called 85,000 from small blind Ben Yu. Yu continued for pot on the {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Negreanu shoved, but not for much more. Yu called.

Yu: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Negreanu: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The turn was the {j-Clubs}.

"That's a bad card," Negreanu observed. "That's the nail shut card."

Negreanu still had a bit of equity but the {8-Clubs} river didn't do it for him.

Lehr Doubles Through Peters

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Keith Lehr limped on the button and called 40,000 from small blind David Peters. On the {5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Peters stuck in 100,000 and called when Lehr jammed for 39,000 more.

Lehr: {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Peters: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The {5-Clubs} was fine for Peters but the {8-Diamonds} river gave Lehr the straight.

Chasin' Koon Misses

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The blinds checked to Daniel Negreanu and he bet 40,000 on {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs} from the button. Jason Koon came along from the big blind.

"Uh-oh," Negreanu said. "Koon's a-sniffin'."

"Back home there was a guy who used to call me chasin' Koon," Koon said. "'Koon's chasin' again.'"

The turn was the {2-Spades} and Koon checked. Negreanu moved in for 108,000. Koon called with {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a combo draw. Negreanu had {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades} for aces up. The river missed Koon and he shipped over a double.

Players are now on break for 10 minutes.

Negreanu Doubles Through Lehr

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Keith Lehr raised the cutoff to 26,000 and Daniel Negreanu called in the big blind.

The flop landed {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Negreanu bet his entire stack of 62,000 and Lehr called.

Lehr: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Negreanu: {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The turn and river fell the {7-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds}, and Negreanu doubled through.

Down to 11

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ben Yu opened for 28,000 on the button and Anthony Zinno three-bet to 92,000 in the small blind. Yu peeled and they saw {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop. Zinno jammed and Yu snap-called.

Zinno: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Yu: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds} turn kept Zinno ahead but the {j-Clubs} river gave Yu a straight.

At another table, Jake Schindler also busted out and the last 11 are going to the final two tables.

Adams Hits One-Outer on Bonomo to Double

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Brandon Adams
Brandon Adams

From the button, Justin Bonomo raised to 28,000 and Jonathan Depa called in the small blind. Brandon Adams announced a re-raise of pot totaling 120,000 from the big blind.

Bonomo responded with a four-bet of pot and Depa quickly folded. Adams called all in for 360,000, and the cards were tabled.

Adams: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Bonomo: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

With Adams trailing, the dealer would prepare to deal the flop and the {J-Spades} would be the window card. The flop then filled out {J-Spades}{A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} to see both players flop a set and leave Adams drawing to just one out.

Fortunately for the Event #2 Champion, the turn fell the {J-Diamonds} to give Adams quads, and when the river fell the {5-Hearts}, he would through to over 750,000 in chips.
