Schindler Picks Off Imsirovic

Level 16 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

From the button, Ali Imsirovic raised to 50,000 and Jake Schindler called in the big blind.

The {8-Spades}{A-Spades}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board was checked down to the river where Imsirovic bet 125,000, and Schindler called.

Imsirovic tabled his {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the second nut low, and Schindler revealed his {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to collect the pot.

Rainer Kempe Eliminated in 9th Place

Elio Fox opened for 40,000 and Ali Imsirovic jammed in the small blind, covering everyone. Rainer Kempe said he was all in from the big for just over 500,000. Fox mucked.

"Good thing I didn't do what I was supposed to do," he said.

Imsirovic: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Kempe: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The flop was about as brutal as it gets for Kempe: {9-}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}, giving Imsirovic nines with a flush draw to block Kempe's chances to come back. The {6-Diamonds} turn and {5-Diamonds} river missed the German and he mucked his hand with some force and left.

Nick Schulman Eliminated in 10th Place

Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Nick Schulman got his last 337,000 in from the small blind with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and was up against the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Ali Imsirovic. The {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop favored the bigger stack and the {k-Spades} turn sealed it, with a {j-Diamonds} river stinging Schulman by giving him a worthless straight.

Koray Aldemir raised to 32,000 from under the gun, and Keith Lehr three-bet next to act to 120,000. Action folded back to Aldemir, and he shoved for 480,000, and Lehr made the call for his 263,000 total.

Lehr: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Aldemir: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Lehr was eliminated in 11th place.

Lehr Doubles Through Davies

Level 15 : 8,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Keith Lehr jammed in the small blind for 130,000 and was quickly called by Seth Davies.

Lehr: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Davies: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts} board left Davies dead on the turn for a Lehr double.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 12th Place

Level 15 : 8,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised the cutoff to 35,000 and Ali Imsirovic called in the small blind.

The flop landed {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Imsirovic checked to Negreanu who continued for 25,000. Imsirovic called, and when the {K-Diamonds} fell on the turn, he checked again.

Negreanu bet 50,000, and Imsirovic announced he was all in for 1,735,000. Negreanu thought for a little, then called all in for 280,000 total.

Negreanu: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Imsirovic: {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Negreanu had been outdrawn on the turn, and when the river was the unfavorable {4-Clubs} to further improve Imsirovic's hand to a straight, Negreanu was eliminated in 12th place.
