Rainer Kempe Eliminated in 14th Place

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 5,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Stephen Chidwick raised to 10,000 on the button with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Rainer Kempe defended his big blind with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. The flop came {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Kempe check-called a bet of 8,000 from Chidwick.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Kempe checked again. Chidwick overbet the pot with a bet of 80,000 but Kempe still called. The river was the {q-Spades} and Kempe checked one more time. Chidwick reached back for a bet of 302,000 which was enough to cover Kempe's stack.

Kempe thought about it for his allotted 30 seconds and then made the call, much to his dismay. Chidwick turned over his set of sevens and Kempe headed to the rail.

Straight for Vogelsang

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 5,000 ante

Seth Davies limped in and Christoph Vogelsang checked his option in the big blind.

The flop landed {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Davies bet 9,000. Vogelsang called, and when the turn landed the {8-Hearts}, Davies bet 9,000 and Vogelsang called.

The river fell the {A-Diamonds} and Davies tossed in 5,000 and Vogelsang called.

Davies tabled his {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, but it would be Vogelsang's {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a bigger straight that would earn him the pot.

Kempe Fires Three Bullets

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 5,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 9,000 from under the gun with {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and Bryn Kenney defended the big blind with {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} giving both players a straight draw.

Kenney checked to Kempe who continued for 10,000. Kenney called and the {a-Hearts} landed on the turn. Kenney checked again and Kempe tossed in a bet of 25,000. Kenney called after making a pair of aces and the {a-Spades} paired the board on the river.

Kenney checked again and Kempe unleashed a third bullet of 60,000. Kenney check-raised to 270,000 which quickly got Kempe to muck his hand.

Another Big Double for Chidwick

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

The action folded to Stephen Chidwick in the small blind who just limped in with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Bryn Kenney raised it up to 16,000 with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} in the big blind. Chidwick stuck in a three-bet to 64,000 and Kenney four-bet shoved all in. Chidwick called off his stack of 341,000 and the cards were tabled.

It was a coin flip for a huge pot that saw Chidwick take the lead on a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and the river brought the {4-Diamonds}. Chidwick scored another double up as he took over the chip lead at the feature table.

Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 15th Place

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Action folded to David Peters in the small blind, and he limped in for 4,000 as Justin Bonomo checked his option in the big.

The flop fell {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Peters bet out 4,000 with Bonomo making the call as the turn landed the {2-Diamonds}.

Peters bet 13,000, and Bonomo called as the {J-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Peters dropped in a stack of blue 5,000-denomination chips to effectively put Bonomo all in, and the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl Champion obliged by calling all in for 38,000.

Bonomo tabled his {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for top pair, but Peters revealed his {K-Spades}{K-Spades} for an overpair, and consequently Bonomo was eliminated in 15th place from the Poker Masters Main Event.
