Dejan Boscovic won a decent-sized pot from Vincent Huang, the pair keeping tabs of who's on top in the battles between them. The joy was short-lived though, as Boscovic shortly doubled up Hass Onay afterwards.
William Undy was knocked out in 12th, and Morten Mortensen followed shortly after in 11th, backing up his 7th in last December's event with another strong run here. Undy received A$4,000, and Mortensen A$5,000. With those two eliminations, we are on the Final Table bubble.

Day 1 chip leader Anish Kumar has become the first player to be eliminated in the money. His was not good enough to beat Hass Onay's when the board ran out .
His 14th position will earn him A$4,000, more than enough to jump straight into the A$1,150 Main Event Day 1a which is also running here at the same time.
The bubble has been burst, with Rehman Kassam moving all-in from the button with . Vincent Huang, the table chip leader, woke up with and called to put Kassam at risk.
The board provided no help to Kassam and he went out in 15th place. All remaining players are guaranteed at least A$4,000 for their efforts.
Over half-way through this blind level now playing hand for hand and there's not many flops to be seen. Most pre-flops raises have taken down the pot as no-one wants to be the bubble. Onay suggested everyone paying the bubble $100, it was not unaminous.
