Katz Gets To Double
Level 7
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nick Schulman opened the action with a raise to 10,000 from under the gun, and it folded to Justin Zaki on the button.
As Zaki debated his decision, Cary Katz moved all in from the small blind for 68,000, although Zaki did not act yet. Zaki decided to just call, and Katz' jam had to stand, which got Schulman out of the way, and Zaki called to put Katz at risk.
Cary Katz: 7♦7♣
Justin Zaki: A♣J♠
It ended up being a flip, and the pocket sevens of Katz would hold up, as the board ran out 2♣2♠Q♦8♠2♥ to give him a double up.
