Welcome Back to PokerGO Cup for Event #5: $10,000 NLH
It's a new week and a new set of events at the PokerGO Cup being held at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The stakes have increased and the pressure will be ramped up over the coming week as the winner of a $25,000 PGT Passport will be declared. It's a full slate of tournaments every day, beginning with Event #5: $10,000 NLH.
This event will be followed by four more events of its kind, wrapping up with a $15,000 NLH Main Event on the weekend. Leading the way in the PokerGO Cup standings thus far is Kent Stephens after his victory in the opening event, $3,000 PokerGO Cup Showcase. That was the only result for Stephens in the opening week, but it remains good enough for the lead thus far. However, he is closely followed by Myles Mullaly who has two cashes, Filipp Khavin, and Brock Wilson, who also have a victory under their belt.
You can expect to see many of the top poker pros in the Las Vegas area show up for the high stakes events this week and that could be the determining factor in who will walk away with the PokerGO Cup trophy. Each tournament will take place over two days, the first playing down to the final six players, and the second will be a live-streamed final table to determine the winner.
The cards are scheduled go in the air at 12 p.m. PST with players receiving a starting stack of 125,000 chips. The blinds will kick off at 500/1,000/1,000 and will increase every 30 minutes. There will be a 15-minute break after every four levels and no dinner break is scheduled. Late registration will remain open until the start of level nine and the levels will increase to 40 minutes at the start of level 13.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the tournament floor to bring you all of the updates throughout the day en route to reaching the final table. Keep it locked here to find out who will come out on top in the 2026 PokerGO Cup.
