Pan Calls Down Weissman
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Qinghai Pan raised to 35,000 on the button and Joey Weissman defended from the big blind. The flop came K♦8♣3♦ and Weissman check-called a bet of 45,000 from Pan.
The turn was the 6♠ and both players checked to the 8♥ on the river. Weissman slid out a bet of 105,000, leaving just 5,000 behind. Pan gave it some thought and then threw in the chips to call. Weissman showed 9♦7♦ for a missed straight and flush draw while Pan held A♦3♠ for two pair.
Weissman was forced all in on the next hand and was eliminated, quickly followed by John Hennigan on the hand after that.
