Shak Flips Out Shy of the Money
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Dan Shak ripped all in for his last 250,000 chips in the hijack and was called by Sam Laskowitz on the button. The blinds got out of the way and the cards were tabled.
Dan Shak: A♠K♠
Sam Laskowitz: 10♠10♥
It was a coin flip and the flop of 9♣5♣2♠ favored the pocket tens of Laskowitz. The Q♦ on the turn just missed Shak and the 2♥ on the river also bricked out. The tournament will now be hand-for-hand until the next elimination on the stone bubble.
