The Trapper Gets Trapped
Level 19
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sean Winter raised to 150,000 in the small blind with Q♣Q♦ and Landon Tice called from the big blind with 8♠7♣. The flop came J♦10♥5♦ and Winter opted to set the trap with a check. Tice didn't fall for it as he checked back to the 10♦ on the turn.
Both players checked the turn as well and the 9♥ peeled off on the river. Winter gave Tice two free pulls at his straight draw and he managed to get there. Winter jammed all in on the river and Tice instantly called off his last 640,000 chips to get the double up.
