Coleman Does Ausmus Dirty
Jeremy Ausmus moved all in from under the gun for his stack of 46,500, and it folded to David Coleman in the cutoff, who asked "how much is that?". He took a moment before making the call, which got the button and blinds to quickly fold, leaving the players heads up with Ausmus at risk.
Jeremy Ausmus: A♥8♦
David Coleman: A♣8♣
Once Ausmus reveled his hand, Coleman jokingly said "what a piece s%#t" hand that is" as he tabled the same hand.
With a chop seeming likely, the flop came 4♥3♣3♥ giving both players a backdoor flush draw. The Q♣ brought in a flush draw for Coleman, although he did not realize it and took his chips back, thinking it was a chop.
But the river was the Q♣ to give Coleman the nut flush, but his head was still down and didn't realize it until Ausmus, who was stunned, said "What was that?".
Coleman then realized he made a flush, saying "I really thought we chopped on the turn." as he took the pot and Ausmus was eliminated.
