The Final Table Fashion Report

There were certainly some... interesting fashion choices made this morning by our PLO final table players. Karlos Farah is decked out in a green and black Gianfranco Ferre logo shirt, a white fedora with black stripes, diamond earrings, and crystal-encrusted sunglasses. Across the table, Lee Nelson chose a wild Hawaiian shirt today, topped off with his signature "Kill Phil" hat. Tino Lechich is dressed in exactly the same clothes I saw him in last at the WSOP-Europe Main Event-- his "lucky" Team Betfair polo.

Tino Lechich limped in for 6,000, Powell raised all in for 23,000 and Lechich called.

A Bit About Our Final Table Players

Tino Lechich (204,000) Lechich most recently finished 12th in the WSOP-Europe Main Event for an $83,000 payday. He's made dozens of final table appearances in Australia at the Victorian Poker Championships and at the Crown Australian Championships.

Barry "Dave Shoelace" Carter (54,000) Carter is one of the writers of Poker News' U.K. site and is a self-described "Omaha Donkey." He's hoping his five big blinds is enough to fold his way to his first championship win.

Julian Powell (14,000) Powell made two final tables at the 2007 Victorian Poker Championships and took down one of this summer's Deep Stack Extravaganza events at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Stewart Scott (81,000) This is Scott's final table debut on the Aussie poker scene.

Adrian Sullivan (48,500) Sullivan's most recent major finish was at the final table of the $1,000 tag-team event at the 2007 Aussie Millions.

Karlos Farah (128,000) Going into the final table second in chips, this is local player Farah's first recorded cash.

Jim Sachinidis (84,000) Sachinidis made two cashes at this summer's World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and made the final table of the $1,000 NLHE event at the 2007 Aussie Millions.

Lee "Final Table" Nelson (93,500) Perhaps best known for winning the Main Event of the 2006 Aussie Millions, Nelson lives up to his nickname, with over 50 recorded final table finishes. He's also the author of the poker book "Kill Phil."

Sandra Propper (47,000) The only lady left in the tournament, Ms. Propper is currently ranked 10th in the Crown's Poker Player of the Year race.

Rainer Quel (73,000) Quel is our third final table rookie playing today, going for his first recorded cash.
