Hinrichsen still standing
Hinrichsen still standing
An opponent raised it up in early position to 5,500 but found Andrew Hinrichsen in late postion who reraised to 15,500. The opponent called and they checked their option on both the flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and the turn of the {3-Hearts}.

Hinrichsen then led out on the river {10-Clubs} for 22,000 and the opponent called. Hinrichsen tabled {A-Spades}{2-Spades} but was no good against the opponent's {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Hinrichsen shrinks back to 120,000 after that hand.

Cabret Nails Monster Draw To Cripple Fletcher

Joe Cabret
Joe Cabret
Patrick Fletcher has been crippled after his pocket kings were cracked against Joe Cabret.

They got it in on a flop of {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts} after Cabret fired 24,000 and Fletcher moved all in for 103,000. Cabret thought for a few moments before announcing a call.

Fletcher: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Cabret: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

It was Fletcher's overpair against the flush and straight draws of Cabret. The turn hit Cabret when the {6-Spades} fell to complete the flush as the river bricked the {J-Diamonds}. The massive pot was shipped to Cabret and after he stacked his chips he found himself with 260,000 as Fletcher went for a walk to cool off as he was left with just 12,000 chips.

Croc Doubles Up

Croc: doubles through Gao
Croc: doubles through Gao
The money was all in the middle between Billy 'The Croc' Argyros and Jie Gao; Gao rolled up {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} but found himself dominated by Argyros' {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

"Keep it low please dealer," said Argyros. The dealer complied with his request as the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

'Croc' moves up to 90,000 while Gao takes a step back, down to 99,000 in chips.

Crocky Finds Some Bite

Billy Seri Eliminated
Billy Seri Eliminated
It the battle of the Billys, the flop of {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} saw Billy Seri and Billy "The Croc" Argyros go to war with Crocky tabling {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} as Seri had his tournament life on the life with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the open-ender.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and river the {Q-Diamonds} to eliminate Seri as Crocky is now looking dangerous with 120,000 chips.

Fletcher Triples Up

Fletcher scores some much needed chips
Fletcher scores some much needed chips
Patrick Fletcher raised all in before the flop from early position for 11,000, only to see Joe Cabret and another opponent in late position call him down.

However Cabret and the late position player checked the {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} all the way down; Fletcher rolled up {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the flush, Cabret flashed an {8-?} before mucking and the opponent also mucked.

As a result of that hand, Fletcher moves back up to 33,000.

Nguyen Catches Hawker's Bluff

Bruce Nguyen
Bruce Nguyen
Bruce Nguyen raised under the gun to 7,200 and Matt Hawker made the call on the button to see a flop of {6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Both players checked and the free card on the turn was the {2-Hearts}. Nguyen led out for 11,000 but was met with a raise to 31,000 from Hawker. Nguyen made the call and the river arrived the {8-Clubs}.

Nguyen checked and Hawker fired 29,000 into the middle. Nguyen made the call and Hawker sheepishly flipped over {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for the airball as Nguyen's {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} was good.

Nguyen's nice call nets him a big pot to move up to 334,000 as Hawker slips to 47,000.

Bernard Still Going Strong

Bernard: holding his own
Bernard: holding his own
PokerNews reporter James Bernard is up to 161,500 in chips after managing to hold his own against Ben Savage.

With the board reading {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} we caught the action as Savage and Bernard checked the river; Bernard rolled up {K-?}{8-?} to take it down.

Not bad for the young man, considering he's sharing space with Savage, Robert Wang and Grant Levy!
