Korotki Jams for Value

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Harry Korotki was under the gun and bet 6,850 on the turn with the board reading {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} against the player on his left. Korotki's opponent called, and Korotki quickly shoved all in for about 19,000 on the {6-Diamonds} river. His opponent shook his head but called, and Korotki showed {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for trips. His opponent mucked, and the dealer turned over {a-}{q-} per tournament rules.

Roland Israelashvili just got his last 18,000 or so in preflop with kings, but an opponent had him crushed with {a-}{a-}. No king hit the board, and Israelashvili hit the rail.

Speaking of kings, Mike Dentale just took a seat in the tournament.

"I went out with pocket kings, if anyone cares," Dentale announced of his WPT Main Event run. "Pocket eights. He didn't even hit an eight... made a straight."

Krach & Aron in the Blinds

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Adam Krach and Mike Aron were in the blinds and went to a raised flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Krach check-called 1,400 from the small bind, the turn came {J-Hearts} and both players checked. The river came {A-Spades}, Krach bet 3,500 and Aron mucked.

Aron asked what Krach held and Krach showed him just the {3-Spades}.

"I bluffed him good," Krach said to the rest of the table.

Dentale mulled his options in his usual talkative way, leaned forward and asked the dealer for the big red all in button. The dealer handed it to him and Dentale announced fold and tossed the button back to the dealer.

Double for Wilson

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Taylor Wilson put his remaining 14,000 or so in on a {5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop after betting and being raised by an opponent who initially checked. The player who check-raised to 12,000 made the call with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and was facing Wilson's {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The turn brought a {3-Hearts}, giving Wilson two pair, and he asked for the board to stay unpaired. The [k] river was safe for him.
