Hastings Shoves the River

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught up with this hand on the turn of a {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} board. Alan Snow checked, Brian Hastings bet 3,000, another player mucked and Snow called. The river came {3-Spades}, Snow checked and Hastings moved all in for 15,675.

Snow took a moment and then mucked.

Fink Makes a Tough Call

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

We found David Fink putting in a raise of 25,000 from under the gun on a board of {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. His opponent in middle position had fired 11,000 and responded to the raise with a reraise all in for about 58,000. Fink had to call off his remaining 22,000 to continue, and he decided to do so shortly after the clock was called.

"I just have an overpair," the player in middle position said with a sigh, flicking {j-}{j-} in.

Fink showed {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair, so he still had some cards to fade. The {2-Hearts} wasn't one of them, and he doubled up.

Snow Bounces Jablonski

Level 9 : 400/800, 75 ante

We missed the action of the hand, but the table filled us in on the hand history. Stan Jablonski and Alan Snow went to a flop of {9-}{7-}{6-}, Jablonski moved all in holding pocket queens and Snow called with pocket sevens, having flopped a set. Jablonski didn't catch up and was eliminated.

Ben Keeline bet 3,800 in a blind battle on a board of {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and then checked the {7-Clubs} river after his opponent called. The big blind fired 7,000 and Keeline tanked a couple of minutes before calling. He couldn't beat {a-}{7-}.

Christensen Fades the Spades

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Erik Christensen bet 4,500 on a {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} flop and got raised by a player on the button to 10,000. Christensen announced he was all in.

"Fuck it," the player on the button said, standing up and putting about 50,000 in.

Christensen: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Christensen had more cards to fade after the {a-Diamonds} turn gave his opponent two pair, but the {2-Hearts} river was safe.
