Karoui Busts; Kazgan Doubles

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Bouabdellah Karoui
Bouabdellah Karoui

While Benjamin Benoit is among the big stacks, fellow Frenchman Bouabdellah Karoui had next to no chips left before being sent to the rail. Benoit then took a small hit when Onur Kazgan doubled for 200,000 with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} against his {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Kazgan had a sweat on the board {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}, but held with the better kicker.

Next to Benoit is TonyBet qualifier Dmytro Nesin, who open-shoved several times without being called. Nesin moved back up to half a million after yet another all in that went through.

Karlovarsky Kral

Within quick succession, Sebastian Langrock, DUPLO and Karlovarsky Kral were sent to the rail.

DUPLO sent his short stack over to JOBBI while Alexander Weel claimed the chips of Karlovarsky Kral. The Czech open-shoved for some 22 big blinds and showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, while Weel had him covered by just a small margin and tabled {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} in late position. The board came {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and that was it for the Czech with the nickname.

Ardil Runs Out of Chips

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Güney Ardil got his stack in with the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Benjamin Benoit called with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}. The board came {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Ardil was drawing dead on the turn already.

BigKing777 took a rough beat when Christian Berentzen defended his big blind and got the stack of 295,000 in after a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. BigKing777 called with {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Berentzen had {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. The {A-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river gave the Dane a flush to double in spectacular fashion.

Irakli Kemularia: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
JOBBI: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Oberst Breaks Through Cinitas' Domination

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
William Oberst
William Oberst

William Oberst raised and picked up a call by chip leader Bariskaan Cinitas in the big blind. The latter check-called a bet of 49,000 on the {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and did so again for 79,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn.

After the {J-Diamonds} river, Cinitas checked the third street and Oberst made it 119,000 to go. After plenty of consideration, the Austrian was called and rolled over {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} for trips jacks to claim a massive pot. It was the first major pot Cinitas lost all day.
