Pomonis to the Rail

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

Vasileios Tsaknis three-bet from early position to 12,000. Nikolaos Pomonis called off his remaining stack of 11,650. Anastasios Chatzianastasiou, who was the opening raiser called.

"Huge side pot," the players all joked with 700 on the side.

Chatzianastasiou jammed his stack of around 40,000 after the {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} came on the flop and after some discussion, Tsaknis folded.

Chatzianastasiou turned over {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and had many outs against the {a-Spades}{k-} held by Pomonis.

Pomonis was drawing dead after the {j-Clubs} came on the turn to give his opponent a flush. The {5-Diamonds} came on the river to make the hand official and send Pomonis to the rail.

Simeonov Chips Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player opened to 450 from early position before Rosen Simeonov three-bet to 1,800 from the cutoff.

Dimitrios Dimitros four-bet to 5,150 from the button. The original opener folded and Simeonov called.

Simeonov check-raised a bet from 3,000 to 10,000 from his opponent after the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds} came on the flop.

Simeonov then led out for 17,000 after the {3-Spades} came on the turn and got a call. The {8-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Simeonov fired out for 25,000 with his opponent having about 20,000 behind.

Dimitros tanked for a minute before he folded and turned over the {a-Diamonds}. Dimitros first flashed the {10-Diamonds} and then the {a-Diamonds} and Simeonov slammed the table and shared that he was ahead in the hand.

Georgi Ignatov
Georgi Ignatov

Georgi Ignatov bet 800 into a pot of a little more after the {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} came on the flop. Andreas Chalkidakis raised to 4,500 before Ignatov three-bet to 8,500. Chalkidakis four-bet jammed for around 59,000 and Ignatov who was slightly covered made the call.

Andreas Chalkidakis: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Georgi Ignatov: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Ignatov was in the lead with trips and needed to fade a flush draw from his opponent. The {j-Hearts} on the turn was a safe card for the Bulgarian. However, he was the first player sent to the rail on Day 1b after the {k-Spades} spiked the river to give Chalkidakis a flush,
