Pascal Lefrancois

Action folded around to Nick Maimone on the button and he raised to 27,000. Small blind Pascal Lefrancois three-bet to 70,000 and the big blind quickly folded his hand. Action was back on Maimone who four-bet to 175,000. Lefrancois shoved for about 650,000 and Maimone called.

Pascal Lefrancois: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Nick Maimone: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

"Wow! Wow!" Rasmus Glæsel said.

"I didn't really wanna flip for so much, but when you three-bet to seventy..." Maimone said while figuring out how much Lafrancois roughly had.

It was the biggest pot of the tournament, the five community cards would decide who the chip leader of the tournament would be.

While Glæsel was still expressing his excitement about the size of the pot, the dealer got underway dealing the board: {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades}. It was five blanks for Lefrancois, and he exited the tournament while Maimone got busy stacking.

Byron Kaverman has barely had a moment away from the poker table this trip. Not only is he deep in this PokerStars Championship Bahamas Main Event, but he's already finished third in the $50,000 Single Re-Entry High Roller just two nights ago.

Kaverman has ended another player's chances of outlasting him, in this case Valentin Messina. Messina pushed all-in for 86,000 with {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Kaverman called with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

The board of {Q-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Hearts} saw Kaverman eliminate his foe and jump to 405,000 chips.

Jaime Staples Doubles Again!

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jaime Staples has doubled up a number of times today, and this hand is no different.

Ronan Gorey raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Jaime Staples defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Staples checked, and Gorey bet 30,000. Staples went into the tank and eventually decided to move all in for 167,000. Gorey thought about it for a moment and called.

Staples: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Gorey: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Before the {7-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn Staples yelled, "Nine!"

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Staples nailed his flush. As the dealer was sending him the pot, Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier said, "The flush is easier to make than a straight so..."

Staples laughed and responded, "That's a pro move I should've thought of that."
