Gofman Takes from Wellenbach

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Aleksandr Gofman raised to 45,000 from under the gun and was called by Scott Wellenbach in the small blind and short stack Lachezar Plamenov Petkov in the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, the action checked to Gofman, who continued for 77,000. Wellenbach called and Petkov folded.

The {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Wellenbach checked once more, then called a bet of 166,000 by Gofman. Both players checked the {A-Clubs} river and Wellenbach showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, which ended second-best to Gofman's {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Kaufman Esposito Busts Belaidi

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

There were plenty of chips already in the pot when Brian Kaufman Esposito checked the turn of a board {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Arezki Belaidi moved all in for 350,000 and Kaufman Esposito eventually called.

Arezki Belaidi: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Brian Kaufman Esposito: {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The {9-Hearts} on the river was a blank and Belaidi was eliminated. "Sick call man," Aleksandr Gofman said while Kaufman Esposito boosted his stack from half a million to 1.5 million in a matter of half an hour by eliminating two opponents.

Nagygyorgy Busts to Andrade

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Tibor Nagygyorgy moved all in from early position and Hugo Gomes Andrade asked for a count on the button. Nagygyorgy's shove was for 401,000 and the Portuguese called.

Tibor Nagygyorgy: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Hugo Gomes Andrade: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Andrade had previously doubled via two-outer against the Hungarian, who was seeking revenge. However, Nagygyorgy was drawing dead on the turn of a board {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and both players shook hands. "You are a crazy man," Nagygyorgy said to Andrade with a smile on the face before heading to the payout desk.

Feenstra's Stack is Soaring

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Scott Wellenbach opened from early position for 50,000 and small blind Hugo Gomes Andrade called. Feenstra over called from the big blind.

The two blinds checked on {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Wellenbach bet 75,000. Andrade and Feenstra both called. All three of them checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Spades} completed the board. Andrade checked and Feenstra bet 180,000. Wellenbach folded right away, Andrade did the same after 3 minutes or so in the tank.

Mcdonald and Hansen on the Rail

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The next two casualties are George Mcdonald and Johnny Hansen.

Mcdonald three-bet all in with {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for 424,000 from the cutoff and initial raiser Brian Kaufman Esposito in the hijack called with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The board ran out {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Mcdonald was drawing dead on the turn already.

Hansen got his short stack in with ace-queen and Jan-Eric Schwippert called with pocket eights in the blinds. An eight on the flop left Hansen drawing dead, and he even got a meaningless ace on the turn.

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Almost at the same time, James Romero and Jonathan Proudfoot were eliminated from neighboring tables.

James Romero: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Andre Akkari: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Romero was gone.

Jonathan Proudfoot three-bet shoved for a similar amount from the big blind and button raiser Alex Difelice quickly called.

Alex Difelice: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Both had clashed in a massive pot at the end of the previous level and Difelice finished the job he previously started as the board came {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, sending Proudfoot to the rail.
