Guerrero Pushes Out Davoudi, Burns Rivers Nyberg

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Amir Davoudi popped it up to 525 from under-the-gun and neighbour Jimmy Guerrero made the call, as did HK$206,000 Single Re-Entry Shot Clock I Champion Quan Zhou in the big blind.

Both Zhou and Davoudi checked the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop over with Guerrero attempting to seize the initiative with a bet of 525 with Davoudi the only caller.

Davoudi checked the {8-Clubs} turn over to Guerrero, who continued to tell a believable story with a second bet of 900. That was enough to get Davoudi to give it up and Guerrero wins a small one.

We caught a slightly bigger pot developing between Louis Nyberg and Kahle Burns on a flop of {3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, with Nyberg checking the action over to Burns who bet out 1,100. Nyberg check-raised to 3,300 and Burns gave him the eyeball before throwing in the extras to make the call.

Nyberg now led the {3-Hearts} turn for 7,500 and Burns ran the clock down to 10 seconds before calling to bring the action to the {5-Clubs} river.

Now Nyberg threw out two yellow 5k chips for a bet of 10,000 and Burns quickly called. Nyberg showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades} but had just been rivered by Burns’ {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and the pot is shipped the Australian’s way.
