Zhao and Shuts Shove

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Kenneth Wong raised it up to 2,100 and short stack Wei Zhao three-bet to 6,600 out of the big blind. Wong asked for the stack of his opponent before calling and the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Zhao instantly moved all in for 6,550 and Wong shook his head, then tossed the cards into the muck.

One table over, Maksim Shuts and Michael Song were at it and both players entered late not long ago. On the {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Shuts checked out of the blinds and Song bet 2,000. Shuts check-raised to 6,500 and was called. On the {6-Clubs} turn, Shuts bet 11,000 and Song called before the Belorussian formed a triangle with his hands after the {3-Spades} river completed the board.

The shove was for well over 30,000, which had Song covered, and that won the pot uncontested.
