Full House for Newey

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Pedro Idrovo raised to 600 from under the gun. Paul Newey was in the cutoff and called, as did Adrian Mateos on the button.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Idrovo checked, as did Newey. Mateos bet 1,000 and Idrovo folded, but Newey came along to see a turn.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}. Newey checked again, and Mateos bet 2,500 this time. Newey called.

The river was the {5-Spades}. Newey checked for a third time and this time Mateos checked back.

Newey tabled {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for a full house, kings full of threes and scooped the pot.

Ramos Keeps Calling

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

The hijack opened and his neighbor Felipe Ramos in the cutoff three-bet to 1,600. The button and small blind folded but big blind Martin Jacobson had bigger plans. The former WSOP Main Event champion cold four-bet to 5,700 and the initial raiser gave up. Ramos called.

Jacobson continued for 6,000 on {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and bet 11,000 on the {7-Spades} turn. Ramos called both times and checked behind as soon as he got the option on the {9-Hearts} river. Jacobson showed {Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds} for not much of anything, Ramos took it down with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.
