Ormsby Bluffs it Off to Wasylenko

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

David Ormsby raised to 1,200 from late position and Eric Wasylenko decided to defend his big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Wasylenko checked, prompting Ormsby to bet 900. Wasylenko called. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and Wasylenko checked yet again, followed by a bet of 3,000 from Ormsby. Wasylenko check-raised to 9,000 and Ormsby tanked before deciding to call.

The river was the {3-Spades} and Wasylenko checked. Ormsby moved all in for 19,200, a tad under the size of the pot. Wasylenko thought it over briefly and announced a call. Ormsby immediately stood up and flipped over {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for an airball, and Wasylenko showed a winning {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Jonathan Roy had a raise to 3,500 in front of him in middle position, and Pablo Fernandez made it 8,100 to go in the small blind. Roy called, and Fernandez checked to him when {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flopped. Roy moved all in for 16,075, and Fernandez called after some thought.

Fernandez: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Roy: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

Fernandez was fading jacks and sixes, and neither appeared on the turn ({7-Spades}) or river ({a-Spades}).

Heath Gets Flushed

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

With about 4,000 in the pot, on a board reading {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Ben Heath checked from the big blind.

Affif Prado was under the gun and bet 1,000. Heath check-raised to 3,200 and Prado thought about it before deciding to call.

The turn was the {a-Spades}. Heath led out for 1,800 and Prado called.

The river was the {6-Spades}. Heath checked, and Prado went into the tank before deciding to check back.

Heath tabled {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for top pair with a nine kicker. Prado then tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush and raked in the pot.

Radoja's Overbet Pays Off

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

We came upon Mark Radoja's table to see the Canadian bracelet winner had a bet of 20,500 in front of him, about twice the pot. He was on the button and the community cards were as follows: {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}. His opponent tanked until a clock was called, and just after the floorperson arrived and announced the clock was on, Radoja saw his opponent call.

Radoja turned over {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a straight and added to an already-hefty stack.
