Big Bet Poker

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Robin Luca Wozniczek opened the button to 36,000 and big blind Byron Kaverman called. Kaverman and Wozniczek both checked the {J-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop before the {J-Hearts} hit the turn. Kaverman bet 28,000 and Wozniczek called. The river {2-Hearts} had Kaverman bet out a hefty 127,000. Wozniczek thought about it for just a bit before he released.

Wozniczek had won the first two hands of the day picking up some blinds and antes, so is still hovering around the stack he started the day with.

Luis Alejandro Mata Eliminated in 12th Place ($20,860)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Luis Mata

Luis Alejandro Mata started out as the shortest stack today and had just been eliminated. He shoved all in from the cutoff for 148,000 and found a caller in Byron Kaverman on the button and big blind James Salmon.

The side pot would remain empty as Kaverman and Salmon checked down the entire board of {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} {10-Spades} {K-Hearts}.

When it was time for everyone to show their cards, it turned out everyone had hit. Salmon was best though, showing {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} against the {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} of Mata and {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} of Kaverman.
