Guilbert Doubles Through Kolev

Level 6 : 300/600, 100 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Boris Kolev was the chipleader not long ago but has found himself on a downward slope for a while. Johan Guilbert became the latest to take some of Kolev's chips.

It was a three-bet pot with action on Guilbert in the big blind. On a {3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, the Frenchman bet 2,600, Kolev raised to 8,000, Guilbert shoved 25,000 and Kolev snap-called.

Johan Guilbert: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Boris Kolev: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Kolev had way less outs than anticipated and needed one of the non-diamond straight cards to win. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river the {2-Diamonds} to hand Guilbert the double-up.
