[Removed:552] Pays One Off

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

We found [Removed:551] in the big blind facing a bet of 5,550 on a board of {3-Spades}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The chips were in the pot courtesy of John Mooney, and [Removed:552] paid off the bet after some thought. Mooney turned over {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for the nut flush and took the pot down.

Rough Start for Mjeldheim

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The stack of Thomas Mjeldheim has been cut into half in the first level and the opponents to benefit the most from it were Raman Afanasenka and Pascal Hartmann.

On a three-way flop of {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Hartmann checked out of the big blind and Mjeldheim bet 525 from under the gun. Afanasenka folded on the button and Hartmann came along for the ride. The German checked again the {Q-Hearts} turn and called a bet of 800 before check-calling another 1,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river.

Mjeldheim rolled over {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks briefly, but the cards soon landed in the muck when Hartmann showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} as the winning hand.

Ben Yosef Fires Two Streets

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Kjell Ove Dyb raised to 250 and picked up no fewer than three callers before Assaf Ben Yosef in the big blind bumped it up to 1,150. That resulted in three callers and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, which prompted Ben Yosef to bet 2,100. Only Helio Neves called from the button to see the {5-Clubs} on the turn and Ben Yosef made it another 6,000 to go.

Neves gave it some consideration and folded.

Liviu Makes a Winning Call

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On the 7-handed table, with the big blind missing so a dead 100 in the pot, the player under the gun plus one opened for 300. Liviu Ignat called from the button, the small blind called as well.

Action checked to Ignat on {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and he bet 650. The small blind called, the initial raiser folded.

Both of the players checked the {A-Spades} on the turn so the pot remained 2,300. The {5-Clubs} completed the board and the small blind bet 850. Ignat called and saw his neighbor turn over {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for the missed draw. Ignat himself revealed {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for 4th pair and took down the pot.

Nuutinen Wins Some Back

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Joining the action on the heads-up flop of {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Jorma Nuutinen checked out of the big blind and Andrey Kotelnikov on the button bet 400 into a pot of 750. Nuutinen called and checked again the {4-Clubs} turn, Kotelnikov checked behind. The {7-Clubs} on the river brought no betting action and Nuutinen's {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} won the pot.
