It's Day 3 of the PokerStars Championship Prague Main Event and things will be kicked off with a special announcement by tour organizer PokerStars. There have been rumors floating around for months now, but we will only know for sure as soon as James Hartigan. Joe Stapleton, and Daniel Negreanu take to the comms and spill the beans.
While that may be something big about future events, here in Prague it's all about the now. It's Day 3, the money looms, the tension rises, things are getting real. 140 players remain of the 855 that signed up. 127 are making the money, €8,700 awaits everyone but 13 unlucky souls.
Play gets underway at noon local time, in about 90 minutes from now. The plan for the day is to play 5 levels of 90 minutes each. After every level, a 20-minute break commences for the players.

After a hijack open by Martin Staszko and a three-bet by Fatima Moreira de Melo, Michael Koran jammed about 100,000 in on the button. The PokerStars Team Pro called after Staszko folded what he said was ace-queen.

In one of the first hands of the day, Justas Vaiciulionis shoved for 54,500 from middle position. Action folded to Yury Kanunnikov in the big blind and he tanked for a fair bit before calling.

PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki got all in preflop for what looked like around 150,000 with against a player holding . The board came ace-free and Horecki even hit a boat when trip fours arrived on the felt, earning him a double.

Igor Kurganov limped under the gun for 4,000 and Marcin Horecki joined from middle position. Small blind Alex Foxen thought about it for a bit before completing and big blind Sebastian Kappenberg checked.
The flop came and the blinds and Kurganov checked. Horecki bet 12,000. Foxen check-raised to 31,500 and big blind Kappenberg tanked for quite some time before shoving for 37,500. Horecki called, and so did Foxen.
The on the turn saw Foxen shove and Horecki folded instantly.
