Daniel Dvoress Eliminated in 2nd Place (€652,000)

Level 22 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress kept his hopes alive with a few shoves that went through, but his stack remained around 11 big blinds only. Adrian Mateos then shoved the last hand of the level from the small blind and Dvoress eventually called in the big blind after giving it some consideration.

Daniel Dvoress: {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The Spanish rail including Diego Gomez and Ka Kwan Lau jumped closer to the table and was asking for a jack and eight in the flop. That wish was partly granted, as the flop came {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Both the {5-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Hearts} river failed to improve Dvoress, and he was eliminated in 2nd place for €652,000.

Mateos adds another major title to his collection and takes home €908,000. A recap of today's action will follow shortly.
