Hands #40-45: Sorrentino Grabs the Lead

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #40: Another big hand, {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for Michael Kolkowicz in the small blind and he raised to 360,000. Maxim Panyak folded his big blind.

Hand #41: From the cutoff, Raffaele Sorrentino opened {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to 230,000 which gave him the blinds and antes.

Hand #42: Andreas Klatt received a walk in the big blind with {Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Hand #43: Now in the small blind, Andreas Klatt completed with {Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} leaving himself 1.94 million behind. Raffaele Sorrentino shoved {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to put Klatt at risk and the latter folded right away.

Hand #44: Raffaele Sorrentino limped in from the small blind with {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Michael Kolkowicz checked {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Both checked on {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the {4-Clubs} hit the turn. Sorrentino bet 100,000 and Kolkowicz called. The {7-Spades} saw both players check again and the pot went to Sorrentino with his pair of sixes.

Hand #45: From the button, Sorrentino raised to 230,000 holding {K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Small blind Michael Kolkowicz called with {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}, big blind Panyak called with {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The flop brought {2-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} helping Sorrentino to two pair. Both blinds checked and Sorrentino took down the pot with a bet of 310,000.
