Hands #70-74: Ghavam and Troyanovskiy Take from Shirshikov

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #70: Seyed Ghavam raised to 110,000 with {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} on the button and Pavel Shirshikov defended the {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} in the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, Shirshikov checked and Ghavam continued for 110,000.

Shirshikov called with his gutshot and picked up a second straight draw on the {K-Spades} turn, which also improved Ghavam to two pair. Shirshikov checked and Ghavam bet 290,000 into 485,000, Shirshikov called again. The {7-Hearts} river gave Ghavam a full house and Shirshikov checked, but eventually folded to Ghavam's bet worth 725,000.

Hand #71: Shirshikov raised to 125,000 with the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} in the small blind and Dmitry Vitkind gave up his big blind.

Hand #72: Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened with {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #73: Troyanovskiy received a walk in the big blind with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Hand #74: Troyanovskiy limped in with {K-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Shirshikov raised to 125,000 with the {10-Spades}{7-Spades}. Troyanovskiy called and the flop came {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, which got checked through. There was no betting action on the {K-Diamonds} turn either and Troyanovskiy also checked the {2-Diamonds} river. Shirshikov bet 175,000 and Troyanovskiy quickly called to claim the pot.
