Hands #80-84: Huge Bluff by Shirshikov

Hand #80: Pavel Shirshikov raised to 120,000 from the button with {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, getting a call from Seyed Ghavam {a-Spades}{4-Spades} in the big blind. The dealer gave them a {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop and Ghavam check-called a continuation bet of 165,000 from Shirshikov.

The {2-Spades} landed on the turn and Ghavam once again check-called. This time, a double barrel of 400,000 from Shirshikov. The {q-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Ghavam checked once more. Shirshikov though a moment before firing a third barrel to the sum of 1,000,000. Half of Ghavam’s remaining stack. After a short time in the tank, Ghavam gave up, releasing his hand to the muck. Shirshikov got a round of applause after showing the bluff.

Hand #81: Shirshikov opened with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #82: Dmitry Vitkind opened to 115,000 in early position holding {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Ghavam looked down at {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} on the button and three-bet to 280,000. Vitkind folded.

Hand #83: Shirshikov limped in the small blind with {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Vitkind checked his option holding {q-Spades}{7-Spades}. The flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Shirshikov took down the pot with a bet of 75,000.

Hand #84: Shirshikov opened to 120,000 with {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Vitkind called from the small blind with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and the two saw a {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked and the {3-Diamonds} was introduced on the turn. Vitkind led with a bet of 150,000 and won the pot.
