A Huge Double for Albert Paik

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The player in the cutoff raised, Albert Paik three-bet to 8,800 from the button, the cutoff four-bet to 19,000, and Paik called.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the cutoff bet 20,000. Paik called.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and the cutoff bet 25,000, putting Paik to a decision for over half of his remaining chips. After a bit of thought, he called.

The {7-Clubs} fell on the river and the cutoff, who had a larger stack than Paik, shoved. He went into the tank and tossed the dealer one time bank token. As the seconds ticked down, he called with seven remaining on the clock and showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, superior to the cutoff's {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}, and Paik took the pot to double up and seize the chip lead.
