Kojima Comes Over the Top

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

With about 125,000 chips already in the middle and the completed board reading {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, Hanrunobu Kojima bet 75,000 from the big blind into his lone opponent, Taehoon Han, who was in the cutoff. After a bit of consideration, Han raised to 202,000, and Kojima then jammed over the top for about 450,000. Han quickly folded and Kojima took the pot.

Duming Tsai Eliminated in 15th Place (₩5,720,000)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Duming Tsai shoved in middle position for 200,000. On his left Jwahyoung Kim looked down at his hand then cut out 200,000. He only had a little over 150,000 behind, so he added that to the 200,000 and put it all in. Everyone else folded.

Kim: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Tsai: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Tsai was in big trouble, and things didn't get any better on the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop. The {8-Diamonds} turn ended things early, and Tsai headed for payouts before the {k-Diamonds} even hit the river.

Ko Pushing Towards 2 Million

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In what looked like a limped pot, Weikuo Hsiao bet 30,000 from the big blind on a {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Yuki Ko called on the button and the small blind mucked. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} turn and Hsiao checked the {4-Hearts} river. Ko bet 100,000 and Hsiao called after about 30 seconds.

Ko turned over {k-Spades}{4-Clubs} for trips. Hsiao showed the beat he'd taken: {k-}{7-}.
