With over 20,000 in blinds and antes in the pot already Asmolov led for 12,500 and while Obara looked keen the Japanese player burned through his last time bank chip before he decided to let it go, dropping to 72,000 while Asmolov, already on his second bullet, climbed to 65,000.
Over on table three, Konstantin Pogodin opened the action with a raise to 2,500 from middle position and Alan Lau re-raised from the cutoff to 6,500.
Action folded around to Hoang Long Do in the small blind, who pulled the trigger and moved all-in for over 40,000. Pogodin took the full 30-seconds but folded, as did Lau leaving Do free to scoop the pot and he climbed to 49,500.
