Watch the 2020 NJCOOP Main Event on the PokerNews Twitch Channel!

The PokerNews live reporting team is on top of the 2020 NJCOOP, and in addition to live reporting eight tournaments we're also slated to live stream the two-day Main Event.

The NJCOOP series, which will run through October 26, features $1 million in total guarantees across 54 events. The crown jewel of the series is of course the $300 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, which boasts a $125,000 guarantee. That one takes place Sunday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. local time.

We'll be streaming both Day 1 on Sunday, October 25 and the Day 2 finale on Monday, October 26 with PokerNews's Social Media manager Jesse Fullen on commentary.

In Level 13 (1,500/3,000/375), Ryan "ISlowRollYou" Hohner raised to 6,000 from the cutoff, and was called by John "GameofEdges" Forlenza in the big blind.

Both players checked the flop, and the fell on the turn. Forlenza checked, then called a bet of 6,270 from Hohner.

The hit the river, and Forlenza jammed for 27,623. Hohner paused for a few moments before calling with , but he had been rivered by the of Forlenza, and Forlenza doubled up.

In Level 4 (300/600/75), Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski raised to 1,200 from the hijack, and was called by Mike "mmenz08816" Menzer in the small blind and Tony "JoEiSiNz" Sinishtaj in the big blind.

Action checked to Tentnowski on a flop, and he bet 600. Menzer called, and Sinishtaj check-raised to 2,605. Tentnowski called and Menzer folded.

The fell on the turn, and Sinishtaj bet 7,564. Tentnowski jammed for 15,825 and Sinishtaj called.

The 2020 NJCOOP rolls on with one of the biggest buy-in tourneys left on the circuit, as PokerStars NJ hosts Event #27: $300 NLHE [Sunday Special SE] at 5:00 p.m. local time. This tourney comes with a $50,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool, and a large field of New Jersey grinders is expected to take to the virtual felt in search of an NJCOOP title.

Players receive 50,000 chips to start, with blinds beginning at 150/300 with a 40 ante. Late registration is available for three hours and five minutes, closing at 8:05 p.m. ET, and each player is allowed unlimited re-entries during that period. Any deals made at the final table must leave $1,000 to the eventual winner.

PokerStars NJ is also committed to giving unlucky players extra value via freeroll tickets. Players who get eliminated shy of the money in NJCOOP events will be given tickets into events awarding more NJCOOP seats.

Following up Huge Spring and Summer Series

Action has been intense as ever on PokerStars NJ this year with some big tournament series hitting the client awarding some hefty prizes.

In April, New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker ran, with 620 entries in the similar $300 Main Event. "moledaddy" took home more than $30,000 for first place in that one.

A follow-up in July, the Bounty Builders series, saw more than $700,000 awarded over the course of a few weeks. Network superstar Daniel "AvaGray" Lupo, featured here on PokerNews, won about $14K in the Main Event.
