"GODOFCREAM" Doubles on Last Hand of the Night
"GODOFCREAM" Doubles on Last Hand of the Night

On the final hand of the evening, "BokenTerp" limped in under the gun and action folded around to "flukey10" in the small blind, who completed. "GODOFCREAM" checked their option in the big blind and the flop came {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. "flukey10" checked and "GODOFCREAM" bet 6,000. "BokenTerp" raised to 12,000 and saw a fold from "flukey10" and a call from "GODOFCREAM."

Action was then heads up to the turn {6-Spades}, and "GODOFCREAM" checked. "BokenTerp" bet 18,188" and "GODOFCREAM" check-raised all in for 95,196. "BokenTerp" called.

"GODOFCREAM": {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
"BokenTerp": {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Stacks got in after "GODOFCREAM" turned a flush, leaving "BokenTerp" in need of the board pairing to score the knockout. No such pair came on the river {a-Spades} and the pot was shipped to "GODOFCREAM," who found a double on the final hand of the night to leave "BokenTerp" with just 10,000 to take into Day 2.

The following players were also eliminated before the end of the night in 61-71st place, leaving just 60 players to advance to Day 2. A full list of chip counts and a recap of the day's action will be provided shortly.

"mtubb2455" Eliminated With MInutes Left in Day 1

"JerseyRU" opened to 6,000 in middle position and was called by "mtubb2455" in the small blind.

"dirtyjerzgent" Finds No Help, Busts Before End of Night

Level 20 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante
"dirtyjerzgent" Eliminated by "moledaddy"
"dirtyjerzgent" Eliminated by "moledaddy"

"dirtyjerzgent" was in the hijack and pumped it up to 8,100. Action folded around to "moledaddy" in the big blind, who reraised enough to put "dirtyjerzgent" all in for the remaining 42,000 in their stack. "dirtyjerzgent" made the call and immediately saw the bad news.

"dirtyjerzgent": {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
"moledaddy": {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

"dirtyjerzgent" found themselves dominated going to the flop {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, which despite giving "moledaddy" trip kings actually brought the number of outs up from three to four. However, those four outs became zero as the turn {q-Hearts} gave "moledaddy} a full house and left "dirtyjerzgent" drawing dead beore the river {7-Diamonds} completed the runout to result in their elimination from the tournament in 69th place.

"MisAnnthr0pe" Eliminates "Maverick08618"

"MisAnnthr0pe" opened to 6,000 in early position and action folded around to "Maverick08618" in the small blind, who three-bet jammed for their remaining 16,435. "MisAnnthr0pe" called.

"Maverick08618": {a-Spades}{3-Spades}
"MisAnnthr0pe": {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

"Maverick08618" was ahead but not by much in terms of overall percentages, and the flop {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} gave "MisAnnthr0pe" a pair of sevens to leave "Maverick08618" now in grave shape for their tournament life. The turn {j-Clubs} took away one of their only three remaining outs, and the river {k-Hearts} was of no avail, resulting in their elimination from the tournament in the final level of the night.
