Ortelli Ships Near Six-Figure Pot After Binking Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Maurizio Agrello under the gun, Guido Ortelli in middle position, and Andrea Miroli on the button were three-way to a flop of 5A7. With 7,000 in the pot, the action checked to Miroli on the button, who fired a bet of 5,000.

Agrello then raised to 15,000, which both Ortelli and Miroli called. The 9 turn slowed down Agrello as he checked to Ortelli. Ortelli fired 12,300, seeing Miroli put in his stack of 24,400.

Agrello spent some time in the tank before folding, after which Ortelli quickly called off for 23,700.

Guido Ortelli: 99 All in
Andrea Miroli: 77

Miroli had flopped a set but was in dire straits against Ortelli's turned higher set. Miroli begged for a seven on the river, but the Q came instead, leaving him with just 700 chips.

Ortelli, meanwhile, scooped up the pot worth over three starting stacks and ascended towards the top of the leaderboard.

Cimera Four-Bets Into Kings

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Lorenzo Pasquali raised to 1,000 in the hijack, being called by Andrea Dalco in the cutoff. Adrian Ziemichod then three-bet to 3,200 on the button, with small blind Dean Cimera bumping it up to 10,500.

Pasquali and Dalco quickly moved out of the way before Ziemichod jammed in his stack of 17,400. A quick call followed from Cimera, after which the cards were tabled.

Cimera needed an ace to knock his opponent out, but the Q9484 runout provided none, and Ziemichod doubled up instead,

Laxdal Check-Jams River

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Matteo Mazzi had opened his button when he called the three-bet to 2,800 from small blind Logi Laxdal.

Laxdal fired 3,500 on the 1082 flop and 5,500 on the 2 turn, both times being called by Mazzi.

The A river seemed to slow Laxdal down as he checked to Mazzi. Mazzi assembled a bet of 13,000 and put it in the pot, after which Laxdal immediately moved all in for 32,200.

Mazzi made a snap-fold, leaving himself a healthy stack of 40 big blinds.
